Still think this is just an issue of tolerance?  Tolerance goes both ways.  If the promoters of Cordoba House were really interested in tolerance and understanding, they would not be pushing this issue.  This is America, not a Muslim country, and Muslims need to learn to be tolerant of our own hallowed ground.

But where is the tolerance on the part of the Muslims?

The victims of 9/11 were our neighbors, our countrymen.  Where is the respect for them now?

South Carolina Democratic Senate hopeful, Alvin Greene, has been indicted by a grand jury on charges that he showed illicit photos to a coed on a computer at the University of South Carolina.  When local reporters tracked Greene down at his home for comment, he started howling at them.

Yeah, I said howling.

I can now understand how someone could challenge the mental competence of this man after seeing this video clip.  I also have to call into question democratic voters in South Carolina for choosing this man in the first place.  His nomination says a lot of things:  a) voters who are not educated about their candidates vote often, b) these uneducated voters make their choices alphabetically, c) an uneducated voter is better off not voting at all (IMHO, though I’d rather them maintain all the rights to do so, regardless.)

I watched the clip a couple times – and I was actually laughing out loud by the end of it.  Yes, he actually is howling at the local news media.  Enjoy.

Do you think Dr. Laura ought to have apologized for using the dreaded “N” word on her radio show?

For those of you who don’t know already, Dr. Laura Schlessinger used the derogatory “N” word, in conversational reference to black Americans with a woman caller who was inquiring about the subject.

The HuffPo characterized Dr. Laura’s comments as a “shocking rant” – but I totally disagree.  In fact, her point in using the “N” word was to challenge why black people can say it and it’s okay, and why when white men say it, the word becomes a racial slur.

In an interesting way, didn’t the Huffington Post just prove Dr. Laura’s point?

OH HOLY MOTHER OF CRAP.  What drivel!

I had to look up Iftar.  Per Wiki - Iftar is an Arabic word which refers to the evening meal when Muslims break their fast during the Islamic month of Ramadan. Iftar is one of the religious observances of Ramadan and is often done as a community, with people gathering to break their fast together. Iftar is done right after Maghrib (sunset) time. Traditionally, a date is the first thing to be consumed when the fast is broken.

Obama was born and raised a Communist Muslim.  OF COURSE he’s going to celebrate Ramadan.

But let’s analyze Obama’s statements in depth shall we?  And expose him for the treasonous poison he is:

Islam’s role in advancing justice? Like imprisonment without trial I suppose.  Arresting women for being in the company of men – in public – that are not their husbands.  Marrying young girls under the age of 10, to name a few.

Tolerance? Like Islam’s love for the LBGT (gay) community.  Their love of music.  Their love of alcohol…. boy this could be a long list…

Dignity of all human beings? Yeah, like Jews, I suppose.  And women – hoo doggy, they love them some women, eh?  They love them so much they STONE them to death.  And what about the mutilation of female genitalia.  The practice of sex with young boys being socially acceptable.  etc, etc.

Racial equality? Really now. Examples please?

1993

Feb. 26, New York City: bomb exploded in basement garage of World Trade Center, killing 6 and injuring at least 1,040 others. In 1995, militant Islamist Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman and 9 others were convicted of conspiracy charges, and in 1998, Ramzi Yousef, believed to have been the mastermind, was convicted of the bombing. Al-Qaeda involvement is suspected.

1996

June 25, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia: truck bomb exploded outside Khobar Towers military complex, killing 19 American servicemen and injuring hundreds of others. 13 Saudis and a Lebanese, all alleged members of Islamic militant group Hezbollah, were indicted on charges relating to the attack in June 2001.

1998

Aug. 7, Nairobi, Kenya, and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania: truck bombs exploded almost simultaneously near 2 U.S. embassies, killing 224 (213 in Kenya and 11 in Tanzania) and injuring about 4,500. 4 men connected with al-Qaeda 2 of whom had received training at al-Qaeda camps inside Afghanistan, were convicted of the killings in May 2001 and later sentenced to life in prison. A federal grand jury had indicted 22 men in connection with the attacks, including Saudi dissident Osama bin Laden, who remained at large.

2000

Oct. 12, Aden, Yemen: U.S. Navy destroyer USS Cole heavily damaged when a small boat loaded with explosives blew up alongside it. 17 sailors killed. Linked to Osama bin Laden, or members of al-Qaeda terrorist network.

2001

Sept. 11, New York City, Arlington, Va., and Shanksville, Pa.: hijackers crashed 2 commercial jets into twin towers of World Trade Center; 2 more hijacked jets were crashed into the Pentagon and a field in rural Pa. Total dead and missing numbered 2,9921: 2,749 in New York City, 184 at the Pentagon, 40 in Pa., and 19 hijackers. Islamic al-Qaeda terrorist group blamed. June 14, Karachi, Pakistan: bomb explodes outside American consulate in Karachi, Pakistan, killing 12. Linked to al-Qaeda.

May 12, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: suicide bombers kill 34, including 8 Americans, at housing compounds for Westerners. Al-Qaeda suspected.

2004

May 29–31, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: terrorists attack the offices of a Saudi oil company in Khobar, Saudi Arabia, take foreign oil workers hostage in a nearby residential compound, leaving 22 people dead including one American.

June 11–19, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: terrorists kidnap and execute Paul Johnson Jr., an American, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. 2 other Americans and BBC cameraman killed by gun attacks.

Dec. 6, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia: terrorists storm the U.S. consulate, killing 5 consulate employees. 4 terrorists were killed by Saudi security.

2005

Nov. 9, Amman, Jordan: suicide bombers hit 3 American hotels, Radisson, Grand Hyatt, and Days Inn, in Amman, Jordan, killing 57. Al-Qaeda claimed responsibility.

2006

Sept. 13, Damascus, Syria: an attack by four gunman on the American embassy is foiled.

2007

Jan. 12, Athens, Greece: the U.S. embassy is fired on by an anti-tank missile causing damage but no injuries.

Dec. 11, Algeria: more than 60 people are killed, including 11 United Nations staff members, when Al Qaeda terrorists detonate two car bombs near Algeria’s Constitutional Council and the United Nations offices.

2008

May 26, Iraq: a suicide bomber on a motorcycle kills six U.S. soldiers and wounds 18 others in Tarmiya.

June 24, Iraq: a suicide bomber kills at least 20 people, including three U.S. Marines, at a meeting between sheiks and Americans in Karmah, a town west of Baghdad.

June 12, Afghanistan: four American servicemen are killed when a roadside bomb explodes near a U.S. military vehicle in Farah Province.

July 13, Afghanistan: nine U.S.soldiers and at least 15 NATO troops die when Taliban militants boldly attack an American base in Kunar Province, which borders Pakistan. It’s the most deadly against U.S. troops in three years.

Aug. 18 and 19, Afghanistan: as many as 15 suicide bombers backed by about 30 militants attack a U.S. military base, Camp Salerno, in Bamiyan. Fighting between U.S. troops and members of the Taliban rages overnight. No U.S. troops are killed.

Sept. 16, Yemen: a car bomb and a rocket strike the U.S. embassy in Yemen as staff arrived to work, killing 16 people, including 4 civilians. At least 25 suspected al-Qaeda militants are arrested for the attack.

Nov. 26, India: in a series of attacks on several of Mumbai’s landmarks and commercial hubs that are popular with Americans and other foreign tourists, including at least two five-star hotels, a hospital, a train station, and a cinema. About 300 people are wounded and nearly 190 people die, including at least 5 Americans.

2009

Feb. 9, Iraq: a suicide bomber kills four American soldiers and their Iraqi translator near a police checkpoint.

April 10, Iraq: a suicide attack kills five American soldiers and two Iraqi policemen.

Nov 5, Ft Hood, TX : accused perpetrator Nidal Malik Hasan, a U.S. Army major serving as a psychiatrist, killed 13 people and wounded 30 others.  Hasan is an American-born Muslim of Palestinian descent. The military found e-mail communications between Hasan and Anwar al-Awlaki, an Islamic lecturer, spiritual leader, and former imam who has purportedly inspired Islamic terrorists against the West and, according to U.S. government officials, also become “operational” as a senior talent recruiter, motivator, and participant in planning and training “for al-Qaeda and all of its franchises”.

Dec. 30, Iraq: a suicide bomber kills eight Americans civilians, seven of them CIA agents, at a base in Afghanistan. It’s the deadliest attack on the agency since 9/11. The attacker is reportedly a double agent from Jordan who was acting on behalf of al-Qaeda.

2010

May 1, 2010, Times Square New York, NY: Muslim Pakistani immigrant Faisal Shahzad, planted the dud bomb in a Nissan Pathfinder spent time in the towns most associated with Al Qaeda and its Taliban allies.  In court, said he would do it all again.

This is the religion that your President of the United States of America thinks is American.  Tolerant. Just. Greatly  Diverse.  Full of Dignity.

Mr. President, you disgust me.

Greg Gutfeld, host of the show RedEye on Fox News Channel,  has a new business proposition for ground zero- even if he’s only partly serious.  See the clip from Glenn Beck – it made me laugh out loud.

His idea?  To build a Muslim friendly gay bar, next to the Cordoba House ground zero mosque.

The Muslim friendly bar would be built in the interest of making tolerance a focal point.  After all, if New Yorkers are “tolerant” enough to allow a monument to the destruction and death of thousands of Americans, surely Muslim’s can be tolerant of other social choices human beings may have?

The gay bar’s concept would include no alcohol, a testament to two-way tolerance and understanding of Muslims temperance.  Instead, the proposed bar would have “72 Virgin drinks” on its menu.

Names being tossed around for the new bar include, “Ram-a-Dan”, “Your Meccan me hot”,  and “Suspicious Packages” – amongst others. *giggles*

And while this may seem snarky, Gutfeld has a point.  Muslims forget that tolerance goes both ways.

I say let’s go one further.  In addition to the Muslim friendly gay bar next door, I say we open up a mouth watering southern styled BBQ restaurant across the street.  A Kosher deli on the corner.

The Cordoba people have “tweeted” Gutfeld saying that this will do little to build dialog.  Really?  Dialog?

So much for Muslim tolerance.

Harry Reid is a racist.  I think he has “Bidenitis” otherwise known as foot-in-mouth-disease.  Anyone remember this nugget of racist gold – “light skinned black man with no Negro accent”? Well, he’s at it again.   Harry’s most recent gem?  “I don’t know how anyone of Hispanic decent could be a republican.  Need I say more?”

No, Harry, I think you’ve said enough.

It’s ironic, you know, since Democrats claim to be the party of tolerance.

I love this statement from Marco Rubio , you know, a Hispanic republican.  Rubio, unlike Reid, understands what America is all about.

Nevada, there’s another politician in need of an unemployment check.  C’mon, Harry – take one for the team – if you really want to create jobs, then loose yours!  According to Pelosi, unemployment checks are the fastest way to create jobs!

Any relatively intelligent person (which rules out liberals) knows that social security is going bankrupt in a few years, and will not be there in the future (along with the entire nation, but I digress).  The program is nothing more than a tax on working people to pay for the government’s massive, corrupt entitlements.

Here’s what I want done (and I want it done now): I want the government to admit that social security is a failure of epic proportions, that it’s all over, and take a one-time expense and write everyone a check for the money they have put into the fraudulent endeavor.   It’ll be an astronomical expense up front, but hey, it’s our money, and considering the money the government has thrown away over the past few years, it shouldn’t be a problem.

Like they always do, liberals can think of the expense in terms of Monopoly money, and just print more.  The plan will cost a fortune, but in the end government will end up saving trillions, and people will finally have some money–their own money–to do with as they please (the same should be done for pensions)–call me crazy.

He appealed to the asses to vote for him, lest they should both be subjects, but the animals lazily replied, “Why should we? Do you think it likely the conquering socialists will make us work?’  “No,” rejoined the Congressman. “Then,” said the asses, “as long as we keep getting free housing and food, what matters it to us whom we serve?”

Moral: In a change of big government, the poor, lazy, and clueless change nothing beyond the name of their master.

About the “collapse the economy” deficit numbers for this year put forth by the liberals (socialists) in power.  I think I figured out why they are spending us into oblivion, and have two theories about it:
1. First, they’re simply too stupid to realize what they’re doing.  You see, they’re a product of the liberal public school edumacation system that they love so much, which means they simply never learned to count or balance a checkbook (besides, when everything is paid for you by the government, why bother?), so all of these numbers mean absolutely nothing to them.  What’s the difference between 43 dollars and 430 billion dollars when you can’t add?  All those additional zeros just look really cool.  One liberal was overheard saying: “If we, like, add a bunch of, like, zeros, people will think that they’re, like, getting more free stuff and that we’re, like, important, and they’ll keep re-electing us. And we can just get the money from, like, Obama’s stash.”

2. The other theory is that Cloward and Piven was read to them by their professors, they actually do know what they’re doing, and they’re Hell-bent on collapsing the entire country to rid the world of capitalism and freedom so everyone can live subservient to the all-powerful government and unions in equal abject poverty. Unfortunately, as far as the politicians go, that theory is more plausible (but I still say regular welfare receiving, union-loving, pawns of the media and Hollywood liberals don’t want or need to know, as long as the free stuff keeps coming). That’s just my two cents. Or in liberal terms, my 2 trillion cents.
