As a kid I thought politics were just the silliest thing.  Today my feelings have changed, but not completely.  As life moved along, I found a deeper, more complete appreciation for the Constitution and began to understand my role in the whole deal.  Like any gift, the Constitution requires care and protection.

Growing up in the 80′s I understood the basics of Communism and realized how little I wanted them for myself.  Nowadays, the word ‘freedom’ is an overused tag-line.  When justice, liberty and freedom take a back-seat to the latest Playstation release it’s not hard to see where it’s going to lead.

I started the Raw Deal in an effort to better educate myself and share the education with anyone interested in listening.  The site focuses on breaking news, hard-to-miss opinion and an unwavering commitment to holding government accountable.  If you like what you read share it with a friend, if you don’t, share it with ten.  It’s all about the Raw.
